Welcome to the FinTech and LegalTech Society
The FinTech and LegalTech Society is a student-led initiative established by members of the University of Oxford. Our platform is dedicated to exploring the intersection of finance, technology, law, and innovation, fostering informed discussion on the rapidly evolving digital economy.
We aim to:
Promote Innovation in Finance and Law: Encourage meaningful dialogue on emerging developments in financial technology, legal technology, digital assets, artificial intelligence, regulatory innovation, and related fields.
Showcase Oxford’s Academic Excellence: Highlight outstanding research, articles, and thought leadership authored by Oxford students, alumni, academics, and industry professionals.
Support Future Industry Leaders: Equip students with the knowledge, skills, and professional networks necessary to navigate and shape the future of finance, law, and technology.
Workshops and Skills Development: Practical workshops covering topics such as financial regulation, digital assets, artificial intelligence, legal innovation, compliance technology, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies shaping the financial and legal sectors.

Membership is open to all University of Oxford students, regardless of academic discipline. We welcome individuals with interests in finance, law, technology, entrepreneurship, public policy, and innovation.

The FinTech and LegalTech Society has adopted the University of Oxford Non-Sports Standard Constitution, Code of Conduct, and Complaints Procedure.
Note: The FinTech and LegalTech Society is not yet officially registered as a club or society at the University of Oxford. The only affiliation we currently have with the University of Oxford is that the Society was established by current and former Oxford University students. This website is a preliminary version and is currently under development.
